Kisling, Nestico & Redick is seeking a Probate Paralegal to assist with probate estate administrations for our growing team in Akron, OH.
The Probate Paralegal will be responsible for handling aspects of minor settlements, estates, and death cases.
Responsibilities Review probate transfers from legal assistants/attorneys.
Gather necessary information to draft and file appropriate paperwork, respective to county requirements.
Log mail daily including noting case management software, scanning and saving documents in client file and file original.
Communicate and correspond with clients about case status and preparation.
Managing attorney calendar, keeping accurate appointments/reminders for all court appearances, client meetings, etc.
Prepare for and assist attorney in preparation for probate hearings.
Completing all required follow-up until the probate case is closed.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, and/or relevant work experience Notary Public registration is a plus Articulate, organized team player with excellent grammar and writing skills Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Solid organizational and interpersonal communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Must be highly proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word Working knowledge of Lifitfy Case Management software is a plus Kisling, Nestico & Redick is one of the largest personal injury law firms in Ohio, with offices statewide.
